Hey everyone, Mili here, Co-Founder of Moom! Mama Water (MamaWtr) was created to address something we experienced firsthand but rarely saw talked about - the exhaustion, dehydration, and nausea that come with pregnancy, postpartum, and the demanding early years of motherhood. So much focus goes to the baby, but mums' own hydration and energy needs often get overlooked. We made Mama Water (MamaWtr) to give mums a formula designed specifically for what their bodies are going through, so they can feel supported, replenished, and like themselves again.

  • At its core both of them meet all of Moom’s values- no sugar, plant based, no fillers, no additional colours, etc. Mama Water (MamaWtr) has been specifically designed to meet the nutritional needs of mums and mums-to-be, with lower sodium levels, and and addition of Ginger, B6, and Folic Acid, compared to Hydr-aid (HA-Hydr8). While Hydr-aid (HA-Hydr8) is still pregnancy safe, we wanted to design something specific for mums to support them through each stage of their journey.

  • Yes- while Mama Water (MamaWtr) does have B6, Magnesium, and Folic Acid, three ingredients that should be in your pre-natal as well, the combined quantities do not reach the limit of daily consumption and therefore you can take both. A prenatal is not designed to help with hydration, energy, and nausea like Mama Water (MamaWtr)!

  • Our recommended dose is 1 sachet daily.

  • It has a mild lemon flavour that is very palatable and easy to drink daily, or when feeling nauseous.

  • Yes of course, if you prefer a lower sodium option to Hydr-aid, as an electrolyte and want to consume B6 and Folic Acid (key ingredients in a pre-natal as well), daily, Mama Water (MamaWtr) is a great option!

  • No. Mama Water (MamaWtr) is completely sugar-free and contains no added sugars. It is sweetened with Steviol Glycosides (a plant-based sweetener).

  • Mama Water (MamaWtr) is recommended for mums up to seven years postpartum, we know that running around after little ones can be hard work! That being said, it can replace a daily electrolyte even beyond that.
